About Sacred Breadth
Sacred Breadth is a regenerative land-based healing and education center located in Clyde, New York, on a small riverfront property within an active agricultural landscape near the Montezuma wetlands.
What began as a simple cottage and piece of land is being transformed into a living demonstration of what is possible on a small scale—restoring soil, supporting biodiversity, and creating spaces for human healing and reconnection.
At its core, Sacred Breadth integrates biodynamic gardening, regenerative land practices, meditation, and sacred landscape design. The land is being shaped intentionally through garden beds, a developing medicine wheel, and future contemplative spaces such as a labyrinth, all designed to support both ecological restoration and personal transformation.
This is a mission-driven project rooted in the understanding that the health of the land and the well-being of people are deeply interconnected.
The property itself is dynamic and responsive—open to strong winds across surrounding farmland, influenced by rising water levels from the nearby river, and shaped by seasonal and climate patterns. These natural forces are not obstacles, but teachers. Sacred Breadth is being developed in direct relationship with these conditions, making it an ideal site to demonstrate adaptive, resilient, and regenerative land practices.
Through small-scale farming, composting, organic waste systems, and native planting, the land will serve as a model for soil restoration, water awareness, and ecological stewardship. At the same time, daily practices, retreats, and small group gatherings will offer opportunities for meditation, reflection, and healing work grounded in the land itself.
Sacred Breadth also honors the deeper history of this region. Located near lands historically connected to the Cayuga people and the Montezuma wetlands, the project is committed to respectful acknowledgment, ecological restoration, and the intention of building future relationships that support cultural respect and land stewardship.
This work is both personal and collective:
A place to restore the land.
A place to reconnect with the rhythms of the Earth.
A place to explore how healing the land and healing ourselves are part of the same process.
Sacred Breadth is also a landscape design practice, extending this work beyond the property by helping others develop regenerative, healing-centered spaces on their own land.
Shifting Geopathic Stresses
Through sacred energy mapping, we attune to the subtle vibrations of the earth and the spaces we inhabit. By identifying both harmonious and disharmonious energies, we can realign and transform geopathic stresses, fostering a space of balance and peace. This energetic shift nourishes the interconnectedness of all beings—earth, plant, animal, and human—creating a unified flow of vitality. As we tune into the natural rhythms and release man-made and environmental disruptions, we invite healing for the whole, nurturing our well-being and harmony with the world around us.
We integrate native plants, local materials, and organic solutions to replace harmful chemicals, nurturing the healing of the land and, in doing so, supporting the well-being of all living beings. This holistic approach restores balance and harmony, fostering a deep connection for those who cherish and honor the earth.
Why Sacred Landscapes Matter
Modern landscapes often disrupt natural systems through chemical treatments, soil depletion, and designs that ignore the land’s natural energy patterns. These imbalances can affect soil health, water quality, biodiversity, and even the way people experience a space.
At Sacred Breadth, we restore harmony between people and land. Our designs regenerate soil, support native ecosystems, and create environments that invite stillness, reflection, and connection with nature.
Each project becomes a living system that supports both environmental health and human well-being.
